Device Description
The reusable cart is made of high-quality materials to ensure durability. The Endo Cart height allows for more storage capacity and the endo carts has a larger footprint to maximise stability. The Endo Cart consists of a base assembly with a lockable drawer, x4 adjustable shelves, a central pendant cabinet, an 8-way multi socket outlet, x2 additional knock out panels where extra 4K Spring Arms can be attached. With x4 swivel casters, the cart is easy to move and stop when fully loaded.
Intended Use
The Endo Cart Version 22 is designed to store, transport and supply power to endoscopic camera equipment used in the anaesthesia or endoscopy room.
Compatibility
The carts and monitor stands are meant to be compatible with most small to medium-sized devices in the industry today that require a sturdy, but mobile storage unit.

WARNINGS
- The Endo Cart shall only be used according to the instruction and operating conditions described in this manual. Failure to do so could result in compromised safety, equipment malfunction or damage. Do not use it for any purpose other than it’s intended use.
- Check and confirm that all the shelves, wheels, drawer and if attached, the monitor arm/s are correctly and securely attached.
- Monitor the Endo Cart for any signs of irregularity prior to use.
- To prevent user or patient cross contamination, do not place contaminated equipment, accessories or supplies on the Endo Cart or any of its components.
CAUTIONS
- Do not exceed the load capacity. Exceeding the load capacity may compromise stability and result in compromised safety, equipment malfunction or damage.
- Do not lean or stand on any part of the Endo Cart.
- The drawer should be closed during transport and when the Endo Cart is populated with supplies.
Endo Cart Components
Using the Endo Cart
a. Load Capacity

The recommended maximum load capacity of the cart is 30kg per shelf. A maximum of x2 monitor arms can be attached to the Endo Cart. Overloading the Endo Cart could result in compromised safety, equipment malfunction or damage.

b. Swivel Casters with lock

The Endo Cart has x4 swivel casters with total lock. Ensure that at least two locks/brakes are applied when the Endo cart is stationary. Ensure all locks/ brakes are released prior to moving the Endo Cart. To release and apply the brakes complete the following steps:

c. Drawer

The Endo Cart has a standard drawer fitted to the bottom of the cart. The drawer opens with a mini paddle handle/ latch (non- lockable). When closing the drawer back into the cart, make sure that the mini handle latched back in place. To open and close the drawer with the mini paddle handle complete the following steps:

1. Open the drawer: lift up the mini paddle handle (figure 3.1) and gently pull open the drawer.
2. Close the drawer: gently close the drawer back into the cart, make sure that the mini paddle handle latched (figure 3.2).
d. Adjustable Shelves

The Endo cart has a standard of x4 adjustable shelves. Before adjusting a shelf’s height, remove all equipment from the shelf. To adjust the height of the shelves, complete the following steps:

1. Sufficiently support the shelf before loosening the 4 securing bolts (figure: 4.3);
2. Use a size 5 Hex key and turn the two shelf securing bolts on the left side and two securing bolts on the right side counter clockwise about one turn (360 degrees) to loosen the shelf (figure: 4.1 & 4.2);
3. Do not remove the bolts completely;
4. Slide the shelf up or down (vertically) to the desired height whilst the shelf is parallel to the floor (horizontal).
5. Secure al four bolts turning them clockwise with a size 5 hex key before placing the equipment on the shelf.
e. Endo Cart Handle

The Endo cart has standard handles fitted to either side of the cart. The handles can be used to push the Endo Cart from one place to another. Do not pull/push down on the handles when moving or using the Endo Cart.

f. Central Pendant Cabinet

The central pendant cabinet, with an 8-way C13 Power Distribution Unit has a back door entry that opens and closes with a magnetic catch. Optional extra mounting bracket can be fitted to the side of the central pendant cabinet for a CO2 bottle.

g. Multi Socket Outlet

The 8-way C13 Power Distribution Unit has a double pole power switch on the front of the unit. The PDU is accessible from the back door entry of the central pendant.

h. Knock out panels for the additional monitor arm

The endo cart has 2x additional knock out panels (figure: 7.1 & figure: 7.2) for where the 4K Spring Arm V3 (4KSAV3) can be attached. The monitor arm is an optional extra and can be purchased separately.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
The Endo Cart should be cleaned prior to and after each procedure as per facility protocol.
The Endo Cart must be cleaned on a regular basis in order to prevent unnecessary damage to the cart. When cleaning
the Endo Cart make sure to use the proper cleaning agents and cleaning materials.
CAUTION
DO NOT USE:
- Abrasive Pads
- Scrapers (metal or plastic)
- Steel Wool
- Wire Brushes
- Hard water (pH above 7)
- Bleach or products containing Chlorine
- Ammonia
- Hydrochloric Acid
- Denatured Alcohol
Inappropriate cleaning supplies and chemicals can completely destroy the protective coatings used on the Endo Cart.
After cleaning the cart with cleaning materials use a lint-free dry cloth to dry the Endo Cart drawer interior or let air dry.
If air drying, ALWAYS leave the drawer open, until dry. Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly dry before reusing the Endoscopy Cart.
INSPECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE
Once cleaned, the cart should be inspected for damage or wear:
- Shelves should be properly secured
- Central pendant cabinet door should close and open easily with a magnetic catch
- Drawer should open and close with paddle latch
- Wheels should be free of obstructions
- The multi socket outlet should be attached, dry and in working condition.
- Ensure that handles are tightened and secure.
Periodically clean each caster wheel to remove material such as debris, cleaning wax and floor polish as these may impair the effectiveness of the casters.
If the Endo Cart is deemed faulty, the cart should be taken out of service for repair or maintenance.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
- The Endo Cart shall never be stored in areas where the unit could be exposed to moisture, temperature extremes, humidity, direct sunlight, dust, salt, which could adversely affect the equipment.
- Avoid contact of the caster wheels with debris as this will impair the effectiveness of the casters.
- The Endo Cart shall never be used or transported in an inclined position nor should it be subjected to impact.
