Description
The Arm Cradle is a high-density, blue polyurethane foam positioner built to support and stabilize a patient’s arm during surgery. It is designed for use in both prone and supine positioning and is manufactured in left and right versions to accommodate either arm.
Cutouts and slices in the foam are shaped to hold the arm in its natural bent position across a range of angles, allowing the surgical team to select the positioning that suits the procedure while helping to prevent tissue breakdown and nerve damage during extended time on the table.
The polyurethane foam used in the Arm Cradle is not classified as hazardous or as a mixture of dangerous substances. It is lightweight, resistant to mildew, and formulated not to aggravate common allergies. The device is supplied non-sterile and is intended for single use.
Each Arm Cradle is packaged in protective packaging designed to prevent contamination, compression, tearing, or damage during storage and transport, with labelling applied according to controlled documentation for full product traceability and identification.
Storage
Store the Arm Cradle in a clean, dry, and controlled environment away from direct sunlight, moisture, excessive dust, and high temperatures. Storage conditions must be maintained to preserve the integrity and performance of the polyurethane foam material.
Handling
Handle the Arm Cradle in a manner that prevents product deformation, contamination, or physical damage. Personnel handling the product should follow approved handling procedures and good housekeeping practices to maintain product quality.
