Description
Surgical teams positioning a patient’s limb during a procedure often rely on manual holding by theatre staff. That ties up personnel and can introduce inconsistency in positioning over a long procedure. The Axis Limb Positioner replaces manual holding with a mechanical system: it clamps to the operating table’s side rail and holds the limb in a stable, adjustable position throughout the surgery.
The device mounts to the siderail using universal clamps, so it fits standard operating tables fitted with side rails and standard surgical positioning accessories for limb support. A single lever stops linear movement and locks the ball joint at the same time, so the surgical team sets and locks a position in one motion instead of tightening multiple separate fasteners.
Surgeons use the Axis Limb Positioner during procedures that require controlled positioning and stabilisation of a patient’s limb for surgical access, accuracy, and efficiency.
