Description
Heel Master Support is a free-standing positioning pillow that cradles and stabilizes a patient’s heel, easing pressure on the area and supporting a more restful position. It is intended for patients in post-surgical or general recovery periods.
Heel Master Support is manufactured from flexible polyurethane foam. The material is not classified as hazardous or as a mixture of dangerous substances. It is lightweight, resists mildew, and will not aggravate common allergies.
Heel Master Support is a non-sterile, single-use product. Discard after use. Place the free-standing pillow under the patient’s heel, and place a standard pillow under the calf to slightly elevate the leg. Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from high temperatures.
Storage and Handling
The Heel Master Support shall be stored in its approved packaging in a clean, dry, and controlled storage area, protected from moisture, direct sunlight, excessive heat, dust, contamination, and physical damage. The product shall be handled in a manner that prevents crushing, tearing, deformation, contamination, or mix-up. Only clean hands or appropriate handling practices shall be used when handling product or packaging. Stock shall be identified, segregated where required, and controlled using FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
